Our Blade 400 Bearing tool allows you to extract the one way bearing from the main gear and press it into a new gear. This bearing can be reused many times before it needs to be replaced. You can also press in a new bearing should the need arise. This allows you to avoid the repetative cost of purchasing the main gear with the bearing pre-installed. It will pay for itself after 2 or 3 uses. The tool is designed to keep everything in alignment for easy changing of the one way bearing. This can be done using a small work bench vise, a large C-clamp, or a small arbor press. You can push out and reinstall your one-way bearing in less than a minute. I know because I have crashed my own Blade 400 many times while learning to fly.
